Christine Baker
Russia and USA
Just as we were leaving Russia in 2007, Kathy asked Elena what she really needed. Elena's reply was "a van". We just could not afford to purchase a $30,000 van but said we would go home and pray about it. TRUE STORY!!! About three weeks later, we received an email from Christine that said..... (God was really at work here)....."my name is Christine and I live 20 miles from your shelter in Nizhny Tagil Russia.

Ciro SosayaCusco Peru Ciro is attending the Alas Peruanas University in Cusco. Ciro is VERY smart. He is studying Computer Science. When we brought the 2500 pairs of shoes to Cusco, Ciro took a major role in helping us distribute the shoes. He is a very caring young man and is very special to us.
