| Written by George Houk | | Saturday, 12 December 2009 06:00 |  After our horrible day yesterday, today was much better. ?We started early again today..... rounding up our 'Cusco Family'..... after the incident yesterday, we asked Elo to go with us to the Christmas Party at the Boys Orphanage, Jesus mi Luz. ?Our group had grown to 16. ?Buckner?had another 30+ in their bus, and there were 55+ at the orphanage. ?The day was the hottest so far. ?The party was held outside. ?I bet it was 80?!

| Written by Administrator | | Thursday, 29 October 2009 22:22 |  Orphanage for Boys Jesus Mi Luz is an orphanage for boys - located in?Cusco?Peru. ?Desana is currently providing a Christmas Party (gifts, food, and entertainment) for these boys that live here at Jesus Mi Luz. ?These children have been abandoned by their families. ?Sometimes because the parents just can not afford to take care of them. ?They are the minority. ?Most of the children have parents or grand parents or aunts or uncles that refuse to take care of them. ?Most of these boys were extremely undernourished and therefore many are much smaller than they should be for their age. ?
