You may have a question about Desana or about the projects we are working.? We have tried to answer some of them for you here.

Q: Are my donations tax deductible?
A: Yes, Desana Inc is a 501(c)3 charitable organization registered with the IRS in the United States.

Q: How much of my donation will go to the Desana projects and how goes to running the organization?
A: 100% of all donations we receive go to the projects. The Board of Directors covers all operating costs.

 

Q: How do I know my donation is going to the children?
A: We are directed by the IRS to track all donations and to ensure that they are used as directed by those that donate.

Q: How can I get involved with Desana?

Q: What does Desana mean?
A: "Desana" is a South American Indian Tribe. This tribe believes strongly in 'giving back'. We felt the name fit with what we wanted to accomplish.

Q: How do we apply for funding from Desana?
A: Desana accepts applications for funding via US Mail or email. We have a process set up to review applications. Please fill out this application and return it to us. if you cannot open PDF files, send us an email telling about your need.  We will mail an application to you. You can call us at 1-615.866.9607 (USA) to speak to one of the Desana volunteers.
