Hi brothers and sisters.
This letter is to let you know that we continue to assist the victims of the flooding on the sacred valley. According to the human innate needs, we focused our help in 3 phases. First phase was to supply of food because this is a primary need of any been. Second phase was the construction of 2 temporary buildings, so, those affected people can use them as dining rooms and hide themselves from the sun and rain. The third step and the most important is to help these people become self dependent, that mean they create their new sources of income, so this will help to raise their standard of living. To accomplish this, we have developed two projects: - Cuylandia Center, as a project in the short - medium term. The end of this project is to encourage these people to become micro entrepreneurs with the breeding of guinea pigs in mass and a technical form.? According to research, the 65millones of guinea pigs that are produced each year in Peru are not sufficient for the market, and increasingly the guinea pig meat is becoming the more expensive and more sought in the culinary market.?Read this report from CBS News - Peru Pushes Guinea Pigs As Food.
- Training and Development Center in Paucarbamba as long-term project. The end of this project is to explore and exploit the innate abilities of each person to create objects and works of art to be brought to the national and international market. Working with children in the incentive of their skills such as painting, music, computing, and others.
? Here is additional information. Let us to know if you want to be part of this project. You may donate on this page. Enter Cuylandia as the Project.? 100% of your donation will go to this project. Thank you very much. Warm greeting from Peru.
