Dental Mission

April 9th - 14th, 2010

The Desana Dental Mission will soon be here. Dr Michael Houk (pictured on the left) is the Desana Director of Dental Missions. Dr Houk reports that the Dental Mission is doing very well fund raising to purchase two portable dental units and three portable dental chairs. "These portable units will allow us to do complete dental proceedures asopposed to just extractions." The dental units have both high-speed and low-speed handsets, suction, and other options. The dental chairs are a fully articulated chair. They are lightweight and durable. It can stand alone as a medical examination chair, or be used with the portable dental equipment.

The group heading to Cusco Peru will be made up of Pediactric Dentists, regular dentists, dental students, and interested friends. The group totals 11 people at this time. If you want more information on this mission trip, contact Dr Michael Houk.
