immunizations for female studentsLast week (July 11th) was a very busy one here. We have accomplished a lot. We started the foundation of the new classroom and office building. It is a very large building - 136' x 36'! We had our female students and me immunized against tetanus, a disease which killed my father. We harvested the last of beans from our garden. ema_photo"Hello Kathy and George Houk. On the behalf of TCFF I would like to express our appreciation for your interest in our work. Plus all of the emails we recieve almost every day which is bringing hope into the lives of the people of Kiganda. Whenever the people here see Desana and TCFF together (on both of our websites Desana Website and TCFF Website) they feel that very soon they will be joining the new world. That is....  leaving the world of poverty and entering the world of hope!"

Ssenyonga_John_DirectorI am greatly touched by the love you have shown towards me, my family, TCFF and HSS. This is encouraging. We promise you that we shall also strive to make ourselves better. We shall continue giving people encouragement and hope to better their lives. To do this it requires a lot of hard work. We are ready for this because we know that success is not something you run into accidentally, it takes a lot of preparation and character, it demands sacrifice and self discipline and one cannot develop a capacity for anything without hard work. We thank you very much for the love and support you give to us. May God bless you so much.

Ssenyonga John is the founder of TCFF (The Childrens Future Foundation) a NGO in Uganda that runs the Highway Secondary School in Kiganda. John is 30 years old and is already changing the lives of children and adults in Uganda.
