Report from Kiganda Uganda

immunizations for female studentsLast week (July 11th) was a very busy one here. We have accomplished a lot. We started the foundation of the new classroom and office building. It is a very large building - 136' x 36'! We had our female students and me immunized against tetanus, a disease which killed my father. We harvested the last of beans from our garden. Students helped to move building materials closer to the building site. The builder gave a career guidance on construction to our students.

We have also faced the folowing problems: they closed the road which takes our students to the water point and the drought has reduced the quality of our water we use. We make sure that we do boil water for students before drinking but the colour and the smell remains very bad.

We wish you the best. Thanks very much for your support. The students will very soon have bigger classrooms for their study.

Here are pictures of the construction.
