Rev Fred Children Share plateChildren Sharing PlateOur good friend Rev Kironde Fred sent this report today.....

Beloved in the Lord,

I have had a very nice and intresting Sunday. We had a fundraising and Lunch at Church we ate together with our kids. The Church is in a rural area. We were building the house of a church minister which is now at the window level.  Pray for this task.

Look at these amazing pictures of our children sharing food together on one plate.

May God bless you.

Rev. Fred

Thank you Church of the Redeemer, Shelbyville TN for your generous donation that has gone towards helping the St Thomas Children's Development Center in Mubende, Uganda. The money helped purchase food and school supplies for the children, clothing for the mothers and Jerry cans for the families.

St Thomas Church

obadiah_ddibyaSt Thomas Anglican Church is located in Mubende Uganda. Desana was introduced to the Rector, Canon Obadiah Ddibya on our first visit to Uganda. Canon Ddibya showed us their Children's Mission ..... taking care of orphan children. At the church in Mubende, they have a small dormatory for a few girls. The church also has a training area to teach these girls skills that they will be able to use once they leave the life at the church. In addition to the Mubende Project, they minister to over 500 people (adults and children) in many of the surrounding communities. This ministry is funded by donations. The budget is large, the need is great, and the giving by the local people is not enough to take care of all the orphans and vunerable children.  You can help this mission by giving life to one or more of the children.
