Desana Inc is a fully recognized 501(c)3 organization established in the United States in 2007 for the sole purpose of improving and enriching the lives of children of poverty. Projects are currently successfully established in the United States, Russia, Peru and Uganda. Desana Inc is funded entirely by the generosity of individuals, organizations, churches and grants. All Board of Directors serve on a volunteer basis and are not compensated for any expenses, including travel expenses. Board of Directors also pay all operating expenses, whereby 100% of contributions received are channeled directly to our Projects and, more importantly, to the children in need.

Desana Uganda Limited is a sister company of Desana Inc. It is based in Kampala, Uganda and is fully recognized by the Ugandan Government. The Board of Directors of Desana Uganda Limited also serve on a volunteer basis and currently includes Ssemwogerere Andrew (Ugandan) and Kathy and George Houk (American).
